"All that happens within story is gifted to the reader’s imagination by the author’s application of words to page. All writing is a form of telling, so when it comes to showing, it’s not so much the what as it is the how." ~ D.M. Johnson
In the first part of this workshop we will discuss "Showing vs Telling". We will learn to identify weak areas in writing and how to fix them and make them stronger.
In the second part of this workshop, we will discuss 'Point of View'. The various perspectives of writing such as First Person, Second, Third, Unlimited and Omniscient, and Multiple. Besides learning the different types of perspectives, we will learn how each affect the way a story is told.
